The Prayer House of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church was built between 1930 and 1935 in the Constructivist style according to the design of the architect Pavel Janák. The three-part building consists of a prayer hall, a residential building, and a bell tower. A spiral staircase leads to the top of the tower, which is decorated with a Hussite chalice. The decoration of the church is dominated by a large sculpture of Jesus Christ at the head of the Chancel, with coloured clay reliefs on the sides. The historic pipe organ is a unique feature of the church. During the Prague Uprising in May 1945, an alternative temporary radio studio used to broadcast from the Hus congregational house.
